AJHL readies for Sunday’s All-Star Game

Team Blue, Team White will face off on Jan. 27 at Iorio Ice Arena in Walpole, Mass.

CHESTERFIELD, VA. – The Atlantic Junior Hockey League (AJHL) All-Star Game will be held on Sunday, Jan. 27 at Iorio Ice Arena in Walpole Mass.

Boston Jr. Rangers head coach Mario Martiniello will serve as head coach for Team Blue; Wilkes Barre/Scranton Knights head coach Justin Lyle will serve as head coach of Team White.

The game is scheduled for 1:10 p.m. EST, and tickets are available for purchase for $5 at Iorio Ice Arena the day of the event. Junior, college and professional coaches and scouts who present a business card will be admitted free of charge.

The game will also be video broadcast live via the Internet through FASTHockey.com.

Celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2012-13, the AJHL, a USA Hockey-sanctioned Tier III Junior A league boasting 12 teams from seven states, prides itself on the social maturity and skill development of student-athletes ages 16-20 with aspirations of advancing to collegiate and/or professional hockey.
