Another East Coast Update

Are you tired of these east coast junior hockey updates yet?  Feel like its hard to keep up with the ever changing landscape?  Are you having a hard time deciding where to play and who to trust?

Dont worry, youre not alone.  We here at TJHN are getting over loaded with emails asking for updates on the junior hockey situation on the east coast.

So here is the latest…   But the latest may change later today…… Or tomorrow……Or Monday……

The ESHL teams once said to be going to the Metropolitan League are not going to the Met.  Where are they going?  Either in the trash heap or to the Empire, but no one seems 100% clear.

The compromise reached last week had some organizations moving their Empire teams to the Met, and not the ESHL teams.  Apparently some owners were confused on this and are now said to be unhappy with this.

Pretty simple to move your ESHL team to the Empire and your Empire to the Met.  It really isnt rocket science.  Then again with all the attorneys involved, there should be no wonder why some are confused.

The EJ teams are still said to be mergin with the AJ.  Sources are reporting that they are just waiting on paperwork.

The USPHL will have their top division as well as an Elite division which will allegedly include its EJ teams.  How this works with the merger of the EJ and the AJ, no one has been able to make clear.

The message from TJHN to those on the east coast causing this mess to remain unsettled….

Try pulling your collective heads out of your collective butts and settle this matter once and for all for the players sakes.  East Coast resident players are leaving for the Mid West because of the mess you have created and refuse to resolve.

Say something official and say it soon.  The silence is deafening.  In case you havent noticed, the season starts in less than four months and players woould really like to know whats going on before they sign a contract with people who seem to be confused.
