Dells Ducks Win Opener September 8, 2012 10:51 AM
Starting out strong was priority number one for the Dells Ducks this season. Last night the Ducks did just that.
Making a statement to the Minnesota Junior Hockey League, the Ducks came out firing. Scoring eight goals in their first game against a hard working Steele County Blades team was meant to set the tone for the remainder of the season.
Individual goals for the Ducks came from Jordan Mathys, Austin Zima, Joey Bower, and Justin Gregory. Ian Harris and Brady Hefner had two goals each, while each added an assist for three point nights.
The weekend series against Steele County continues this evening.
