#DineenCupPlayoffs: Ogden Mustangs Sweep Mountain Division Championship, Will Face South Shore In Finals

The Ogden Mustangs pulled off the series sweep to win the inaugural NCDC Mountain Division championship, winning 5-0 on Tuesday night to sweep their series 3-0 against the Utah Outliers.

The series started on April 12 with a 4-1 Ogden Mustangs win, followed one day later by an epic 3-2 double-overtime victory. William Cherniak scored the double-overtime winner in that victory on a shot from center ice.

Nikita Volsky made 42 saves to help the Mustangs win as they were outshot 42-33 in Game 3, but they were still able to put five on the board in the 5-0 series-clinching victory.

The schedule is now set for the Dineen Cup Finals. All games will be held at Foxboro (Mass.) Sports Center in the best-of-three, hosted by the South Shore Kings, winners of the New England Championship and the Atlantic vs. New England Championship.

Friday, April 26, 7 p.m. EST

Saturday, April 27, 7 p.m. EST

Sunday, April 28, 4 p.m. EST (If Necessary)
