Hockey Talent Management Success Story – Reese Hicks

Reese Hicks is a scoring and play making machine. The 2007 birth year forward did a great job in the 2023-2024 CSSHL season with the Northern Alberta Prep U-17 program.

Fifteen goals and eighteen assists, for a total of thirty three points in just twenty nine games definitely had CSSHL goaltenders concerned every time the he was on the ice. Putting up and additional five points in four playoff games, Hicks was determined to play a complete game and take advantage of any scouting opportunities there were.

Prior to the end of the regular season though, Reese went to skate with the Drayton Valley Thunder in the AJHL, and shortly thereafter he signed a letter of intent to play with Drayton Valley in the 2024 – 2025 season.

The HTM philosophy is and has always been that getting players into positions where they can fill roles that fit their skill sets, as early as possible is what helps them have long term success. Sending players to skate with teams, during the season, is a part of each players individual planning.

Reese Hicks is another of the many success stories HTM helps players create every season. When you’re ready to gain the HTM advantage, obtain your no cost or obligation consultation email Devin Panzeca at [email protected]
