MNJHL Saints Announce Head Coach

The Central Wisconsin Saints take great pride in announcing their new head coach today. After a long and thorough search they feel they have found the right candidate. With more than fifty inquires, a dozen phone interviews and a few in person evaluations they have chosen John McCreary to be the third head coach in their history. Most recently, John was an intricate part of coaching staff for the New Mexico Renegades in the WSHL.

John says “I am extremely excited to be the new head coach of the Central Wisconsin Saints. This team and the Minnesota Junior Hockey League have outstanding reputations and I feel this is the perfect place to develop players and get them on to the next level, no matter if it’s a higher level of juniors or the NCAA”

This year the Saints have worked hard in the off season to foster strong relationships with NAHL Tier II teams and regional DIII colleges. John says “It’s a great feeling to be a part of an organization that has the same drive to move players up as I do, we intend on making player advancement our biggest feature in our reputation”

John knows it’s the off season and as much as he would like to celebrate, it’s his busiest time of year and he continues on the recruiting trail.
