Forward: Siamion Marshchanok, Pueblo Bulls
Marshchanok (‘05/Minsk, Belarus) struck for two goals and three assists for five points in the Bulls’ two games played against the Ogden Mustangs and Rock Springs Grizzlies. The Bulls were able to qualify for the playoffs, as well. Marshchanok is the leading scorer in the NCDC with 62 points in 39 games.
Defense: Micahlind Pelletier, Casper Warbirds
Pelletier (‘04/Gilbert, Ariz.) sent home a goal and added an assist in a Warbirds win against the Idaho Falls Spud Kings, and he also had an assist on Feb. 22 against Ogden in another win. He has improved to 10 points in 41 games.
Goaltender: Ryan Henry, Pueblo Bulls
The second-year NCDC veteran Henry (‘04/Wayne, N.J.) stopped all 33 shots he faced as the Bulls defeated the Ogden Mustangs 6-0 on Feb. 21. Henry joined the Bulls this month and Friday marked his debut for Pueblo.
Rookie: Matsvei Marshchanok, Pueblo Bulls
Just seven days after Siamion’s twin brother Matsvei scored four goals and an assist, he was back again with the big offense, putting up a goal and three assists for four points in the Bulls’ past two seasons. With 58 points, Matsvei is second in scoring only to Siamion.
Selection Process: Team coaches first nominate players, the League sends back finalists, and coaches are then able to further vote on finalists or nominate other players.
