Week of March 22, 2025

Games of March 11-17, 2025

Forward: Braxton Powers, Islanders Hockey Club

Powers (‘04/Raleigh, N.C.) had a very busy three-game stretch against three different teams, putting up four goals and five assists for nine points. He now has 68 points on the season, which is more than the 64 points combined that he posted in the NCDC between 2021-24. He is currently second in scoring in the NCDC.

Defense: Gregor Jennersjo, South Shore Kings

The Kings All-Star blueliner  registered five assists over a stretch of three games, giving him 45 points on the season to stand third in the NCDC among defensemen.

Goaltender: Ethan Jourden, Northern Cyclones

Jourden (‘04/Arnold, Mo.) played most of the season with the Cyclones’ USPHL Premier team, but he earned the call-up to the NCDC on March 17, stopping all 29 shots he faced against the Boston Dogs. It was his second NCDC win this season.

Rookie: Cody Arnold, Boston Dogs

In the same game where Jourden put up his 29-save shutout win, Arnold (‘06/Kinnelon, N.J.) stopped 46 of 48 shots. Arnold put up a .948 save percentage for his two games played in March.

Selection Process: Team coaches first nominate players, the League sends back finalists, and coaches are then able to further vote on finalists or nominate other players.
