NCDC Players Of The Week: Mountain Division

Forward: Jackson Walsh, Ogden Mustangs

Walsh (‘05/Northville, Mich.) put up a pair of goals and added two assists for four points, as he helped the Mustangs go 2-1-0-0 during the Frozen Futures Showcase in Idaho Falls, held between Oct. 2-4. Walsh entered the NCDC committed to the University of Notre Dame, and currently has six points through his first five games. 

 

Defense: Will Hofer, Pueblo Bulls

At the Frozen Futures, second-year Bull Hofer (‘04/Fargo, N.D.) registered a goal and two assists – including on the overtime game-winner in Game 1 against Rock Springs by Hunter Bill. 

 

Goaltender: Hunter Bauer, Ogden Mustangs

Bauer (‘06/Bristow, Va.), a 2023 NCDC Entry Draft Pick by the Mustangs, was simply phenomenal for the Mustangs in Idaho last week. In total, he put up 60 saves on 61 shots, and that included a 26-save shutout of the Casper Warbirds on Thursday. For the season, he has a 2-1-0-0 record with a .944 save percentage. 

 

Rookie: Siamion Marshchanok, Pueblo Bulls

An absolute USPHL Advancement In Action success story, Marshchanok (‘05/Minsk, Belarus) scored his first three junior goals and added an assist for four points as he made his NCDC debut at the Frozen Futures Showcase. Siamion was the 2023-24 Fans Choice MVP for the USPHL Premier, and he is joined on the Bulls by his twin brother Matsvei Marshchanok.
