Boston Junior Bruins 5, Islanders Hockey Club 1

Shane Baker registered a natural hat trick in the third period, three in a row to help the Junior Bruins to a big win. He also added one assist, and Drew Haxton posted a 1-2-3 line. Garrett Simpson put up 36 saves on 37 shots to claim the victory.

 

Ogden Mustangs 4, Rock Springs Grizzlies 0 

Four different goal-scorers registered goals for the Mustangs, despite a strong performance from Rock Springs’ Tucker Inabinet, who made 54 saves on 58 shots. Casper Conradsson-Kelvgard had three assists, and Parker Osborn and Dimitriy Voyatzis each had a 1-1-2 line. Nikita Volski made 19 saves for a save.

 

P.A.L. Jr. Islanders 3, Rockets Hockey Club 2

Devin Niles scored the regulation game-winning goal as the P.A.L. got the win against the Rockets. Nicholas Bevilacqua stopped 23 of 25 shots.

 

Pueblo Bulls 3, Provo Predators 1

Will Sinclair registered a goal and an assist and Ryan Mitchell stopped 31 of 32 to pick up the victory in the afternoon game of the NCDC Frozen Futures.

 

Utica Jr. Comets 6, Twin City Thunder 3

Payne Gatewood led with two goals and was one of five different goal-scorers as the Jr. Comets came back from being down 1-0 after the first to explode for four goals in the second period. Waylon Esche stopped 32 of 35 shots to get the victory.

 

Utah Outliers 5, Idaho Falls Spud Kings 4

Makar Klochkov scored two goals – including the regulation GWG – and added two assists to help lift his team to a big victory against the NCDC Frozen Futures host Spud Kings. Jean-Sebastian Pack and David Utkin both had two assists, while Michael Schwartz and Garrett Joss each had one goal and one assist. Philip Rondina finished with 27 saves on 31 shots.
