The Pre Draft Combine in Grand Rapids Michigan will see the BETA release of P.A.S.S. Performance Analysis Scouting System software to all Coaches and Scouts attending.
The BETA version will be available to operate on any Android phone, tablet or laptop.
What is P.A.S.S.?
A SCOUTING EVOLUTION
P.A.S.S. is a new software designed to bring hockey scouting into the 21st century. You can now grade each player using a number of different skill sets. Not only can you grade each individual skill sets but those skills are given weighted values depending on the players position. P.A.S.S. will generate a numerical value of each player scouted. P.A.S.S. cumulates all the reports from a player and creates a graph so the user can visually see which skills have been evolving and which ones he needs to work on more.
P.A.S.S. is user friendly. It efficiently categorizes your reports on players. It allows for a standardization of each report regardless of its user. Enabling any user to make the best-informed decision on a particular player.
“P.A.S.S. is an idea that was brought to us by our colleague in Montreal, David Bergeron.” Said Joseph Kolodziej CEO of Hockey Holdings Group “It has been a project we have worked on the last few years. Its been tested, and we feel it has a useful purpose in the marketplace. The old way of grading players on a four or five star rating scale simply doesn’t provide enough information. P.A.S.S. is a much more comprehensive way of grading players.”
P.A.S.S. will be available later this summer as a Windows and IOS program.
“We are going to give it to scouts to test. We want their independent feedback, and then we will go back and use that feedback to perfect the system.” Said David Bergeron “We feel the formulas we have are accurate, and are looking forward to getting the professionals to offer their insight so we can give them exactly what they want.”
P.A.S.S. in its BETA version will be limited to the player grading system alone, while the full version to be released later will have many features and benefits.
If you are a scout interested in testing P.A.S.S. please be sure to register your attendance at the Pre Draft Combine. [email protected]
