Philly Revolution Met Team Goes Undefeated At Wood Chuck Classic

 

Lead by new Head Coach John Ambrefe, the Metropolitan Junior Hockey Leagues Philly Revolution dominated at the Wood Chuck Classic Pres Season Showcase this past weekend.

After 8 hours on the bus ride to Burlington, Vermont the MJHL Philly Revolution team skated to a 5-4 victory over a very good Portland Pirates U18AAA.  After falling behind 4-2, and coming back to tie it up, Brad Nolan scored form the Blue Lline with 40 seconds to go in the game!
Saturday brought the Revolution to the ice again to take on Islanders Empire and Rice Prep.  The Revolution were victorious in both games with scores Revolution 8 and Islanders 1, Revolution 8 and Rice Prep 2.
The Revolution rounded out the weekend by playing their final game against the Hitmen Empire.  Revolution came away with another win, beating the Hitmen 6-3.

Sebastian Romeo 12 G 11 A
MJ Melanson 8 G 12 A
Nate Kohlenhoefer 3 G 9 A3
Brad Nolan lead on D with 3 G and 8 A
While all three Revolution goalies saw action and recorded the following stats:
Brenden Manquen 67 mins 3 GAA
Brandon Mercer 67 mins 4 GAA
Kian Kemp 67 mins 3 GAA
“We played with only 7 forwards and 5 defensement all weekend to due a couple injuries and player reporting to camp next week” states Coach Ambrefe.  The boys played extremely hard and I am very proud of them and their showing this weekend” quoted Ambrefe.
