Scouting report:
Jacobson exhibits a high hockey IQ. A smart and coachable player. 2012-2013 had Jacobson battling through a cyst found in between bones in his wrist which limited his play making and scoring ability. A player who is viewed as having more upside once healthy. Surgery in the summer of 2013 to remove the cyst will allow him to continue to develop in the 2013 season. The last three years has seen Jacobson continually grow and move to higher levels of competition.
