The Death Pool – Reports From The Court House

Only one week left in the month of July.  One week until the wheels begin to fall off pay to play hockey teams across North America.  So until then we just have to make do with all the other dummies available.

Darren Smith from Ferris State University has been charged with three counts of first degree sexual assault as well as one count of injuring an incapacitated victim.  All of these charges carry up to life sentences, yeah, life for each charge.

The alleged crimes took place off campus on July 8th.  So yeah, what more can be said about this shit?

Kevin Smalley Cloquet-Esko-Carlton boys hockey coach has resigned.  You know, because his job is going to be placing more demands on him and he wont be able to do the job he wants to do for the team.

I mean forget the fact that Mr. Smalley was booked into the St. Louis County Jail on July 8 on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.  That sure wouldn’t have had anything to do with resigning from a position you only got a year ago right?

With roughly five weeks before the season begins, teams from coast to coast are telling their best lies now in recruiting.  Desperate times call for desperate measures, look for the desperation to really come out these next two weeks.
