Hey kids, its Wednesday. You know what that means? Well, not a whole hell of a lot really other than I get to report on another dumb ass who was up all night drinking. Ohhhhhhhhh yeah and this particular dumb ass is being charged with stabbing someone. Yep, didn’t want to forget that little tid bit.
So yeah, a 20 year old Grey Highlands Bravehearts hockey player of the GMHL is in hospital with life threatening injuries following a stabbing in Priceville, east of Durham.
The OPP, when ever I hear that I wanna say “yeah you know me”, anyway, the cops were called around 5 AM on Sunday, about a fight involving six men, with one man stabbed with a knife. Yep, 5 AM kids. Anyone ever read the TJHN story about nothing good happening after midnight? Nothing Good Happens After Midnight Well nothing good really happens at 5 AM ya dumb asses.
So anyway, it gets better.
The accused is also a member of the Grey Highlands Bravehearts hockey team. Yep, they’re team mates boys. How much you wanna bet this was a fight over something stupid, like maybe some hockey groupie? And both of these team mates apparently grew up in the same region of Northern Ontario! Neighbors, team mates, and now one faces charges for the other.
This is just brilliant. Really, you cant make this stuff up.
Ohhhhhhhhh yeahhhhhhh. Before I forget, the OPP (yeah you know me) believe ALCOHOL “was a factor”. Ummmmmm yeahhhhhhh like we couldn’t have figured that one out on our own.
So hey, someone wanna tell me whats up with this teams curfew? Anyone doing some housing checks? Or, is this another one of those “boys will be boys” things that unless someone got stabbed would have been swept under the rug. Oh snap, but someone did get stabbed this time, so whats up now boys?
You know you would think I would stop being amazed at some of this stuff, but WOW, this is just beyond amazing. Now not only is one kid facing serious charges, but another lies in a hospital bed because of it.
The only thing I am more disappointed about is not having the idiots name who did it so it could be published. This person should never be allowed on or near a team again.
But hey, alcohol is just fine for a bunch of kids right? Yep, mix adrenaline and alcohol and everything will be fine.
