TJHN Top Twenty Combined Rankings – OHL, QMJHL, WHL and USHL

Included in the rankings are the OHL, QMJHL,WHL and USHL 

These rankings are independent, and based upon wins, losses and strength of schedule. Historical references about strength of league or other items not relative to current playing environments is not taken into account.

  1. London Knights (OHL)  With only 6 losses on the season and one of the most elite special teams units in Canada the Knights top the list. A high flying offense with the least goals against In the OHL.
  2. Everett Silvertips (WHL) With a +72 goal differential Everett is almost impossible to beat in regulation. The Silvertips have the most goals for in the CHL and the most goals in the WHL by a wide margin.
  3. Moncton Wildcats (QMJHL) While having the most goals in the QMJHL Moncton also has the best Penalty Kill in the Country. Having a special teams unit clicking like this is proving challenging to beat. 
  4. Kitchener Rangers (OHL) Kitchener has really found their stride as of late winning 8 of their last 10. While not having the most explosive offense their Defense and goaltending has been outstanding.
  5. Drummondville Voltigeurs (QMJHL) with one of the fewest goals against in the CHL the Voltigeurs have been virtually unbeatable as of late only dropping 1 game in regulation of their last 10. 
  6. Sioux Falls Stampede (USHL)  In a league with a lot of parity top to bottom with a +29 goal differential The Stampede are able to pull ahead of the herd.
  7. Madison Capitals (USHL) with the fewest goals against in the US they are having a lot of success controlling the play and shutting down rival offenses. 
  8. Tri-City Americans (WHL) Although the Americans had a hot start to the season, they have stalled as of late. Behind a lack luster power play they have only managed 5 regulation wins in the last 10 games.
  9. Windsor Spitfire (OHL) A well balanced team. Strong on both sides of the ice. Special teams proving to be a strong spot helping them pull out wins.
  10. Dubuque Fighting Saints (USHL) Consistent production has kept the Fighting Saints near the top of the USHL leader board. 
  11. Rimouski Oceanic (QMJHL) With struggling special team play they have still found ways to win games, picking up 8 of their last 10.
  12. Calgary Hitmen (WHL) Catching fire as of late. After a slower start to the season the Hitmen have found a way to win. While struggling to kill penalties they have only dropped 2 games in their last 10.
  13. Niagara Ice Dogs (OHL) While having the best offense in the country, they struggle to keep pucks out of their own net. However, they have found a recipe to keep winning despite their defensive struggles.
  14. Fargo Force (USHL) Fargo keeps finding ways to win games. While not having as explosive of an offense as some teams on the list, they pull out wins regardless. 
  15. Spokane Chiefs (WHL) With one of the most efficient Power Plays in the Country it is easy to see why the Chiefs have caught fire as of late, Shooting up the standings. 
  16. Prince George Cougars (WHL) A very Balanced system has led to the Cougars success this season. However, some poor performances as of late has hurt their position in the standings.
  17. Sherbrooke Phoenix (QMJHL) Sherbrooke is firing on all cylinders. After a very mediocre start to the season they have picked up points in 9 of the last 10 games.
  18. Barrie Colts (OHL) In a strong division with great parity the Colts have found a way to nearly pull ahead of the pack.
  19. Muskegon Lumberjacks (USHL) After an electric start to the season the Lumberjacks have started to burn out. Only picking up 6 of their last 10
  20. Rouyn-Noranda Huskies (QMJHL) While the start of their season could not have gone much better, they have been on a real slide as of late. If they can get their PK back on track maybe they will start to find the win column again.
