Wyatt Teubert, Hampton Roads Whalers
Teubert (’04/White Rock, B.C.) just closed up a four-year career with the Whalers that started in 2021-22 and resulted in 151 points scored over 121 games played. His 151 points rank third in Whalers history, and his 95 assists are second. This season, he contributed more than half of those points by registering a 27-49-76 line in 44 games. He was a member of the Southeast/Florida All-Star team and put up an assist at the All-Star event in Massachusetts.
Yovanni Flores, Potomac Patriots
Flores (’04/Los Angeles, Calif.) was one of many who helped get the Patriots within one goal of the National Championship game. All season, he produced exactly as the Patriots needed, putting up 31 goals and 16 assists for 47 points in 44 games. When it was all said and done, he played in 110 games for the Patriots Premier team, tied for second most in their USPHL Premier history. He scored 75 points for his Premier career in the regular season. As a member of the Southeast/Florida All-Stars, he scored two goals and added an assist in his two games at the All-Star event in January.
Ilya Biesiedin, Potomac Patriots
Like Flores, Biesiedin (’05/Kharkiv, Ukraine) joined the Premier Patriots from their Elite team of 2022-23. Biesiedin was a USPHL Elite All-Star in 2023-24, and now he is a Southeast All-Division selection at the USPHL Premier level – USPHL Advancement In Action! This year, Biesiedin led the Patriots in scoring with 59 points off a 25-34-59 line, and for his combined Elite and Premier career, he has 167 points in 175 games all in the Red, White and Blue of the Patriots.
Defense: Marshall Beaker, Charlotte Rush
Beaker (’04/Brighton, Mich.) was a crucial voice of experience for the Rush, coming in with three seasons of Tier II experience, including in the National Collegiate Development Conference. Beaker turned this into an outstanding Premier season with the Rush, posting 23 points in 24 games, while helping the Rush give up just 2.20 goals against on average, a top 10 grade for the 73-team league this past season.
Defense: Tristin McAuliffe, Charlotte Rush
McAuliffe (’08/Raleigh, N.C.) was a major beneficiary of playing alongside Beaker, as the 2008-born blueliner quickly adapted to the junior game in a season where he also played Midget AAA hockey with the Long Island Gulls. During his time with the Rush, he scored 25 points in 38 games, showing that he has huge potential for advancement in what could be an amazing junior career with four years of eligibility remaining.
Goaltender: Rocco Stolz, Charlotte Rush
The Rush have never lacked strong goaltending, and this year was no different. Stolz (’04/Rochester, Mich.) registered a 10-2-4-1 record with a .936 save percentage and a 2.22 goals against average, closely matching the team’s goals against average. With fellow veteran goaltender Evan Crawford, an All-Star selection, he helped keep the Rush at or near the top of the Southeast standings throughout the season. For his three-year career, he never suffered more than three losses in a season, meantime winning 33. He never finished with less than a .928 save percentage, and closed his career with a .933 mark.
Selection Process: Coaches in the division first nominate players, and then vote on these nominations. If there are ties in positions, there is an additional run-off vote. Coaches are presented with the finalists and given more than 24 hours to make changes if the majority votes to do so. If there are no challenges to the finalists, they are named as the All-Division Team.
