Dallas Jr Stars Still Have Openings

The Dallas Jr Stars of the NA3HL will start training camp on Tuesday September 17th in Euless, Texas.

With camp opening just 17 days prior to the season opener against the Imperials, the Stars will have lots to work on in preparation for the inaugural South Division affair. Coach Jason Deitsch is looking forward to getting to camp and getting to know the talent that has been recruited over the whirlwind last 60 days.

“We have been to so many camps and logged hours on the phone and emails and it will be good to step on the ice and get things rolling” said Deitsch. “I am excited about the trio of netminders we have assembled and each of them have been #1 guys on previous teams. Our defense corp is big and strong and yet all have offensive skill off the charts”.

The one position that is still wide open is up front where the Stars continue to seek skilled forwards that want a legitimate shot at a top six spot.

“We have some quickness and size on the wing, but we have some opportunities up the middle for guys that might want to come to camp and show us what they have” commented Deitsch. “We have signed guys that will make it very hard for the opponents to score, now we just need to add some scoring depth.”
