The 2021-2022 season is fast approaching. Yes. While many of you are just now finishing your seasons, or getting ready for playoffs, teams have begun preparing for the next season.
The Junior Hockey News Showcase has assisted hundreds of players in elevating their play to the next level. With more Tier I, Tier II and NCAA advancements than any other independent event over the last 19 years, The Junior Hockey News Showcase is a proven pathway to elevating your game and to get noticed.
The 2021 event will take place June 11 through 13 at the Novi Ice Arena in Detroit Michigan.
“We are returning to our original format of maximizing player exposure through playing games in an advanced level competitive environment. We have eliminated the “combine testing” portion we have been using for years in order to allow the players to play. Players and scouts alike have requested that more game action be the focus, and we are listening to that request.” Said Joseph Kolodziej Publisher of The Junior Hockey News
“Every player will play in five games over the weekend. Coaches and scouts will have immediate access to players during the event, and all games will be broadcast on line free of charge so that scouts may watch if they are unable to travel. All registered and attending scouts will receive advance player information, and that same information will be made available to confirmed scouts watching on the internet. Player information will be pushed out to scouts rather than held back like some other events.”

Team and player meet and greet opportunities will be available all weekend. Player contact with coaches and scouts will not be limited or made by appointment. This promotes active on site recruiting, and a competitive recruiting environment.
The Junior Hockey News Showcase is limited to 120 player and 12 goaltenders. Each game is played in 25 minute stop time halves. A5 minute over time of 4 on 4 will be played in the result of a tie. All rosters, scores and game broadcasts to be available through The Junior Hockey News.
