The 2023 USPHL Showcase Series will wrap up this coming weekend with the final event of the calendar, before the USPHL Playoffs kick off in March. Many of the teams participating in the South Shore Kings Presidents Day Showcase will still be either fighting for a playoff berth or jockeying for seeding position over five showcase days, ranging from Thursday, Feb. 16, through Monday, Feb. 20 (Presidents Day).

Following the Showcase itself, the NCDC All-Star Games will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 21. All games for both events will take place at Foxboro Sports Center at 10 East Belcher Road in Foxboro, Mass.

All three junior divisions of the USPHL will be in action at Foxboro, with 10 NCDC teams kicking off the action Thursday. USPHL Premier and Elite action begins with one game Thursday before pushing into full action on Friday morning and running through 34 Premier games and 12 Elite contests before it all ends.

The NCDC teams competing will include the two-time defending Dineen Cup Champion Jersey Hitmen, as well as the host South Shore Kings, Northern Cyclones, Boston Advantage, Islanders Hockey Club, Twin City Thunder, Utica Jr. Comets, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights, Mercer Chiefs and Connecticut Jr. Rangers.

The USPHL Premier portion of the showcase will feature teams from the New England, Mid-Atlantic, Great Lakes and Midwest East Divisions.

The New England teams are the host Kings, Boston Junior Bruins, Bridgewater Bandits, Islanders Hockey Club, New Hampshire Jr. Monarchs, Northern Cyclones and Springfield Pics. Mid-Atlantic teams include Connecticut Jr. Rangers, Utica Jr. Comets, Rockets Hockey Club, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights, Hershey Cubs, Buffalo Stampede and the New York Aviators. From the Great Lakes Division and Midwest East Divisions, respectively, the Metro Jets and MJDP will compete at the showcase.

Elite teams competing at the Kings Showcase include: Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights, Rockets Hockey Club, New York Aviators, Boston Junior Bruins, Springfield Pics, Bridgewater Bandits, and Northern Cyclones.

The Kings and the USPHL cordially invite all NCAA, CHF and ACHA college coaches as well as NHL scouts to the event to see our fantastic student-athletes competing at all three junior levels. Nearly 200 players earned NCAA conference honors during the 2021-22 season, showing that USPHL players truly are #CommittedLeaders. More than 3,100 USPHL alumni competed during the 2021-22 college hockey season alone at the NCAA, ACHA and CHF levels.

The Kings’ event will feature a private Scouts Room, with full hospitality and viewing areas, as well as access to locker room areas for player/coach conferencing. Kings and USPHL staff will be on hand to answer questions and assist in any way needed.

We hope you can join us in person, or watch the showcase games online at HockeyTV.com throughout the event.
