Forward: Henri Spoof, Mercer Chiefs

Spoof (‘03/Jyvaskala, Finland) was all over the scoresheet on both games, as Mercer and the Jersey Hitmen split a pair of 5-2 games. In the Chiefs’ win, Spoof posted two goals and one assist, and then added a goal in the 5-2 loss. Spoof finished the weekend series with a +2 rating (second on the team), and also put the most shots on goal for the Chiefs in the series with 11, giving him a 27.2 shooting percentage. 

Defense: Jonah Copre, Rockets Hockey Club 

Copre (‘03/Elgin, Ill.) remains clicking at nearly a point-per-game average after 52 games, posting a 5-45-50 line for his two-year Rockets career. Copre put up five assists over two recent games against the Connecticut Jr. Rangers, which actually topped all NCDC players for points per game between Nov. 14-20 at 2.5. He continues to lead the team in average ice time (19:48) and has racked up an average of seven defensive takeaways per game. 

Goaltender: Nicholas Bevilacqua, P.A.L. Junior Islanders 

Bevilacqua (‘03/Abington, Mass.) earned his 10th and 11th wins in a row and stopped 78 of 79 shots faced from the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights, including a 40-save shutout on Nov. 17, his fourth career shutout. The shutout was his fourth in his career and put him into the top 10 all-time in that category. 

Rookie*: Damon Myers, Connecticut Jr. Rangers

Myers (‘05/Worcester, Mass.) had his best weekend of the season so far, registering a goal and two assists during the Jr. Rangers’ weekend sweep of the Rockets Hockey Club. The former St. Mark’s School standout improved to a 3-6-9 line over his 17 games with the Jr. Rangers. Myers, a 2022 NCDC Entry Draft selection of Connecticut, was also a +3 for the weekend series.
