New England Division 

Forward: Milo Daniel, Junior Bruins 

Daniel (‘05/Montreal) has been a key player for the Junior Bruins. This week, he registered nine points with four goals and five assists across three games. Daniel had 33 points across 24 games played in his first Premier season, with three game winning goals. 

 

Defense: Nick Zanin, Springfield Pics 

The Springfield Pics won their first four games of December, with the help of defenseman Zanin (‘04/Stockbridge, Mass.), who registered two goals and four assists over two games this week. In his third season with the Pics, Zanin has played 113 games and has 65 career points. 

 

Goaltender: Cameron Prodin, Northern Cyclones 

Prodin (‘04/Dearborn, Mich.) conceded only one shot of 36 for a .972 save percentage and the win for the Northern Cyclones on Dec. 15. He is 7-3-0-0 in his third season with the Cyclones. Prodin has a .922 career save percentage. 

Atlantic Division

Forward: Andrew Savona, Red Bank Generals 

The Red Bank Generals continue their seven-game win streak that began on Nov. 17, with the help from Savona (‘05/Chalfont, Penn.) who scored six goals and three assists across three games this week, including the game winning goal on Dec. 13. Savona has 37 points in his first Premier season, with 12 goals and 25 assists over 23 games. 

Defense: Marc Hilton, Brooklyn Aviators 

Hilton (‘06/Revere, Mass.) continues December with a four-game points streak, scoring two goals and one assist in two games played for the Brooklyn Aviators this week. The blueliner has 15 points over 23 games in his first Premier season, with four goals and 11 assists. 

Goaltender: Noah Pfab, Hershey Cubs 

Pfab (‘07/Nurnberg, Germany) earns his second Player of the Week honors for December with 1-0-0-1 in games this week. He made 90 saves on 93 shots in two games for the Hershey Cubs, garnering a .968 save percentage and 1.44 goals against average. He is now 9-4-0-1 with a .941 season save percentage. 

Canada Division

Forward: Justin Deschenes, Universel Collège Gatineau 

Deschenes (‘07) is on a five-game points streak with Universel Collège Gatineau, scoring two goals and posting five assists to help the team win two games on Dec. 14 and 15. In his first Premier season, Deschenes has 34 points to be the 11th highest scoring rookie in the league. He’s the second-highest scorer for his team this season. 

Defense: Mathias St-Laurent, Universel Collège Gatineau 

On the defensive side for Universel Collège Gatineau, St-Laurent (‘05/Amos, Que.) scored two goals and had three assists to help win the team’s two wins this week. In his second Premier season and first with Gatineau, St-Laurent has played 59 games and has 37 career points. He scored two game winning goals this season.

Goaltender: Carlo Giordani, Universel Sherbrooke 

Goalie rookie Giordani (‘06) made 60 saves on 63 shots to help Universel Sherbrooke defeat the Hawkesbury Knights on Dec. 14, with a .952 save percentage. In his first season, Giordani, is 5-4-0-1 with a .909 save percentage.

Selection Process: Divisional statistical leaders are presented to coaches, who are able to vote on the leaders, or nominate and vote on alternate candidates.
