Hitmen sign forward Kale Dach to WHL Scholarship and Development Agreement

Calgary, AB – The Calgary Hitmen have signed 2007-born forward Kale Dach to a WHL Scholarship and Development Agreement.

Dach was drafted by Calgary in the fifth round (95th overall) in the 2022 WHL Prospects Draft.  Since then, the forward from Fort Saskatchewan, AB, has played the last two seasons in the BCHL with the Sherwood Park Crusaders. Dach is having a career high season, registering 52 points (11g, 41a) in 34 games played and sits second in BCHL scoring. He has caught the eye of NHL Scouts, cracking the NHL Central Scouting’s Mid Term Rankings at spot 154 amongst North American Skaters.  In 2023, Dach committed to play Division 1 Hockey at Penn State University (NCAA). The 17 year old will join the Calgary Hitmen for the 2025-26 season.

Calgary travels to Lethbridge to face the Hurricanes before returning to Scotiabank Saddledome to wrap up the weekend on Sunday, Jan. 26 at home against Red Deer. Note the later 6:00 p.m. start time against the Rebels in another Sunday Funday presented by Brookfield Residential.
