USPHL Premier Power Rankings: Dec. 26, 2024 & Jan. 2, 2025

Read About How The United States Premier Hockey League Utilizes Ken’s Ratings For American College Hockey (“KRACH”) to determine its Power Rankings.

These rankings are used by the USPHL only to determine Divisional seeding for Premier Nationals; for selecting the Elite wild card team to fill out the 6-team Elite Nationals field.

Since games don’t resume in the USPHL Premier until Jan. 3, 2025, these rankings will hold and still be valid for Jan. 2, 2025.

Power Movers: Where to begin? The Vernal Oilers‘ 4-0 run through the USPHL Las Vegas Showcase, including wins against many Top 10 teams from last week’s – and this week’s – rankings sent shockwaves around the league, especially pertaining to the Northwest and Pacific teams they have faced most often. The Seattle Totems moved from No. 4 last week to No. 2, and the Fresno Monsters jumped from seventh last week to the Top 5 this week. Other teams that saw big moves from their own efforts in Las Vegas as well as the Vernal effect included the Lake Tahoe Lakers (up from 11th last week), the Ontario Jr. Reign (up from 13th) and the San Diego Sabers (up from 21st last week!)

See this week’s full rankings below!
