The United States has unveiled its roster for the upcoming 2025 Hlinka Gretzky Cup tournament that will take place in Brno, Czechia and Trencin, Slovakia from August 11-16, with several OHL newcomers within its ranks.
USA Hockey unveiled the 23-player roster, including three goaltenders, seven defencemen, and 13 forwards, following the conclusion of the 2025 Hlinka Gretzky Cup Selection Camp at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Mich., Saturday afternoon.
Leading the way on the roster announcement is Oshawa Generals forward Brooks Rogowski, who comes off an impressive rookie season where he helped the Gens win their second straight Eastern Conference title. The 6-foot-6, 220Ib. winger from Brighton, Mich. is eligible for the 2026 NHL Draft and will play a big part in Oshawa’s plans for the 2025-26 season.
Joining Rogowski are four players committed to the OHL for the 2025-26 season including third round 2025 OHL Priority Selection choice Levi Harper of the Saginaw Spirit on the blueline. Up front, Windsor Spitfires forward prospect Caden Harvey joins Barrie Colts signing Joseph Salandra and Ottawa 67’s newcomer Jaxon Williams, the son of OHL and NHL alumnus Justin Williams.
An additional five players drafted by OHL clubs but unsigned as of August 4th are also included on the Team USA roster.
The Americans placed fourth in last summer’s tournament after winning bronze in 2023. They’re in the hunt for their first gold medal since 2003.
