A major milestone has been reached for the Woodbridge Wolfpack and the Tier 1 Hockey Federation, as two of its top players have earned spots on one of the most prestigious development programs in the world.
Deverin Warner and Chase Schulberger have officially been named to the USA Hockey National Team Development Program U17 Team for the 2026-27 season, a tremendous accomplishment that places them among the top players in their age group across the country.
The NTDP, based out of USA Hockey Arena, is a two-year residency program designed to develop elite American talent. The U17 team competes in the United States Hockey League, the nation’s only Tier I junior hockey league, while also facing top competition from the North American Hockey League, the Minnesota Elite League, and international opponents across North America and Europe. The 2026-27 season will mark the program’s 30th year of developing some of the best players in the game.
Schulberger, a defenseman from Quakertown, PA, has been a steady presence on the blue line for the Wolfpack this season, recording 25 points in 34 games.
Warner, a forward out of Roselle, NJ, has been an offensive force, tallying 36 points in 40 games.
Being selected to the NTDP is widely considered one of the highest honors in youth hockey, and Warner and Schulberger now join a long line of players who have gone on to excel at the collegiate, professional, and international levels. Their selections reflect their individual dedication and performance, as well as the strength of the Woodbridge Wolfpack program and the continued development taking place across the THF.
The entire THF community proudly congratulates Deverin Warner and Chase Schulberger on this incredible achievement and looks forward to following their journey on the national stage.
