Youngstown Phantoms 3 @ Team USA 6

Jeremy Bracco took control of the game early assisting on an early Luke Kunin goal. He then followed up with a goal of his own five minutes later. Youngstown clawed back on two Maxim Letunov goals, tying the game halfway through the second period. With the score tied 3-3 with only 10 minutes remaining, Team USA pulled away with goals from Charles McAvoy and Brendan Warren. Bracco chipped in an assist on the Warren goal, and then scored an empty netter. Team USA goaltender Michael Lackey stopped 30 of 33 shots on the night.

Green Bay Gamblers 2 @ Bloomington Thunder 6

12 different Bloomington Thunder players scored points on the night. Jack Jenkins, Ryan Galt, Ryan Siroky and Vince Pedrie all had multi-point nights. Galt was the lone multi-goal scorer for Bloomington with 2 goals on the night. Bloomington outshot their opponent 40-24, while going 2/7 (28%) on the power play. Bloomington goaltender Logan Halladay was solid in net with 22 saves on 24 shots.

Muskegon Lumberjacks 3 @ Lincoln Stars 2

Chicago Blackhawks draft pick Matheson Iacopelli nets the game winner, while Muskegon holds off a late third period surge from Lincoln. David Keefer assisted on the game winner, while adding another assist from the game’s first goal. Jack Rowe and Mason Jobst each had one goal and one assist on the night. Muskegon goaltender Eric Schierhorn, continuing to see the majority of action in net, had another solid performance stopping 20 of 22 shots.

Sioux Falls Stampede 1 @ Sioux City 4 

Sioux City goaltender Collin Olson stopped 20 of 21 shots on the night for the win, improving his season totals to a 3-0-1 record with a .942 SV%. Olson was drafted by the Carolina Hurricanes in the 2012 NHL Draft. Adam Johnson and Sam Kurker extended their point streaks to 3 games each. Yale commit Joe Snively scored 2 goals on the night.

Omaha Lancers 0 @ Des Moines Buccaneers 4 

Des Moines’ early season success continues to come from strong goaltending. Ryan Ruck earned the 27-save shutout in his second appearance this season. The Buccaneers penalty kill was a perfect 3-3 on the night. Tanner Karty netted two goals on the night, giving him 4 goals in his first 4 games.

Fargo Force 4 @ Waterloo Black Hawks 3 

Justin Baudry’s first goal of the year was a game-winner, as Fargo came from behind to win 4-3. Going into the third period, Fargo was down 3-4 before Brody Stevens’ power play goal. Just 22 seconds later, Baudry found the net to give the Force a 4-3 lead. Fargo goaltender Mathias Israelsson stopped all 10 shots in the third period.

Chicago Steel 0 @ Tri-City 4

Los Angeles Kings draft pick Alec Dillon came up big with 39 saves on 39 shots. Dillon is now 3-0 on the year in 4 appearances, with a .964 SV%. Tri-City Storm captain Garrett Gamez scored a goal and assist, giving Gamez 4 points in 4 games. Chris Wilkie scored a goal assisted by Kevin Kerr, giving Wilkie 5 points in 4 games and Kerr 4 points in 4 games. Cameron Spicer scored his first USHL goal for Tri-City.
