Hey kids, we’re having a bang up week here at The Death Pool. Yep, and speaking of bangs, how about the High School Assistant Coach from Taunton Massachusetts who banged up a referee last night!
Okay, so I get it, everyone is passionate about the game. Tempers get hot, and sometimes people flip their lids. But seriously kids, what are these idiots who confront referee’s and coaches thinking?!
The incident occurred at the Foxboro Sports Center following Taunton’s 9-1 loss to King Philip.
Yeah, I know, the is a junior hockey site, and we’re talking about some stupid assistant coach from High School, but the principal is the same. He’s supposed to be setting an example for young men and leading them. Does anyone really think this is a leadership style you want taught to your kids?!
So Taunton lost to King Philip High School. Hey dumb ass do you really think the one call you were complaining about to the referee that started the altercation would have made a difference in the score?! Ummmmmmm yeah 9-1 is a pretty complete ass kicking, and I doubt the call would have made up for 8 goals you moron.
Whats really sad, is we keep hearing about people who want to attack other people at hockey games. You never had this kind of behavior until the last decade or so, when people began to think they were entitled to do and say what ever they want. Hmmmmmmm kind of like me and my opinions huh? Yeah, oh well, speech and expression of thought in a non violent manner is a lot smarted than risking yourself or anyone else to physical harm.
Time for some people to grow up and remember its just a game. That’s right, kids, youre not playing for the Stanley Cup, so get over yourselves.
