U.S. Takes on Rival Canada for U18 Worlds Bronze

The United States and Canada are meeting for the 14th time in IIHF Under-18 Men’s World Championship history with the U.S. leading the all-time series, 8-2-2-1 (W-OTW-OTL-L). This is the first meeting between the countries in a bronze-medal game.

The U.S. and Canada met in the semifinals last year in Zug, Switzerland. Team USA won the matchup, 7-2, behind three-point efforts from Jeremy Bracco (0-3), Clayton Keller (1-2) and Colin White (3-0). The United States has outscored Canada, 52-27.

Team USA has five wins over Canada by two goals or more and five wins by one goal. All three setbacks to Canada were by just one goal.
