The American Hockey Academy has assembled what could be called one of the most experienced advisory staff’s in all of amateur hockey.

Hobey Baker Award winner? Yep. NHL experience? Yep. NHL Rookie of The Year winner? Yep. NCAA National Championships? Yep.

Nine former NHL players with all the accolades a person could hope to collect during extensive careers, are the key advisers for on and off ice activity at the American Hockey Academy.

When a young player has a question, or when a young player is simply questioning something within his performance, there is no greater teacher than experience.

Some times, in development, the biggest difference maker in any one persons career can be one contact. One piece of information that shines a light on something the player otherwise could not see. That information almost always comes from someone with experience.

Mike Grier. Andrew Raycroft. Chris O’Sullivan. Mike Mottau. Shawn Bates. Keith Yandle. Ryan Whitney. Brian Eklund. Bruce Shoebottom.

A “Who’s Who” list of experienced advisors who have “been there and done that”.

When looking for support staff in a Prep School program, there is no other offering this level of support to complement a world class coaching staff, on a world class educational campus.

When making your choice of where to play next season, a visit to the American Hockey Academy should be on your list. American Hockey Academy at CATS Academy of Boston
