Recently there has been growing interest in playing junior and/or college hockey in Europe. That interest largely comes from people who are being educated on how much less expensive it is to earn your college degree in Europe while still playing hockey.

Poland, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Finland, and other countries off these opportunities to get an education for a lot less than what you may spend in the United States and Canada, all while offering the opportunity to play hockey at the same time.
