Bakersfield Roughnecks’ Benoit Selected In QMJHL Draft

The Bakersfield Roughnecks’ 2007-born forward Robin Benoit, born in St-Felicien, Que., was selected this past weekend in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) Draft. Benoit was selected 56th overall, in the third round, by the Sherbrooke Phoenix.

Benoit, a USPHL Premier Pacific Division All-Star after scoring 52 points in 43 games this past season, has also been drafted in the NCDC Entry Draft by the Provo Predators, as well as in the United States Hockey League Futures Draft, where he was selected by the Green Bay Gamblers.

The USPHL wishes to congratulate Robin Benoit, his family and the Bakersfield Roughnecks for his multiple 2023 Draft Selections!
