Swift Current, Sask.- Swift Current Broncos alternate captain Rylan Gould has announced his commitment to Michigan Tech University.
The 19-year-old is set to join the Huskies for the 2026-27 season after he completes his overage year in the WHL.
“I’m proud to announce my commitment to play Division 1 Hockey at Michigan Tech University for the 26/27 season,” Gould said. “I would like to thank my coaches, teammates, advisors and my family for helping me reach this point. Excited to see what the future holds!”
The 5-foot-10, 180-pound winger has 14 goals and 17 assists for 31 points in 32 games this season.
Gould set a new career high earlier this season with a two-goal, three-assist effort in a 6-3 win over the division rival Saskatoon Blades on October 4, 2024.
