Colby Wolter – Signs First Pro Contract In Sweden

Colby Wolter will be taking his game back to Europe for the 2024-2025 season. While it does not show up on his Elite Prospects profile Wolter was a part of the COVID Play Safe Stay Safe program in Opole Poland during the 2020-2021 season.

From Opole, Colby went on to play one season of NCAA D-3 hockey with Anna Maria College followed by two seasons with the University of Albnerta Augustana in the ACAC.

Wolter will return to Europe this season and play in the Swedish Division two for Soderhamn/Ljusne HC.

How did this connection happen? Also playing for Opole in the 2020-2021 season was former player and current Hockey Talent Management Vice President Devin Panzeca. Some three and a half years after making that initial connection, Devin was able to place Colby in this position to start his pro career.

When you are looking to elevate your game, and move on to the next level, there is only one company that guarantees results. Hockey Talent Management, the gold standard in player adviser services.
