Dallas Jr Stars Promote Another Player To NAHL

The Dallas Jr Stars would like to extend our congratulations to defenseman Ben Owen who today was moved to the regular roster of the Lonestar Brahmas of the NAHL. In 12 games with the Jr Stars Ben had four goals, seven assists and 11 points. Owen also appeared in two games with the Brahmas this season registering an assist in the Brahmas 2-1 win over Wichita Falls last Saturday night.
Over the summer Ben had a number of options for teams locally and around the country, but chose the Jr Stars, believing the new NA3HL franchise provided the best option for helping him meet his advancement objectives.

While believing from the start that he was capable and ready to play at the Tier II level, Ben approached every practice and every game with the Jr Stars with passion and professionalism. His attitude was truly a model for any player looking to get to…or get back to the next level.

After learning of his call up today, Ben issued the following statement, “Thank you for everything. The Dallas Jr Stars is an exceptional organization and I truly appreciate your help in getting me moved up.”

Good luck the rest of the way Ben. We know you will do well in the NAHL.
