Chicago, IL- We would like to extend a big thank you to all the players who attended the Dells Ducks, Chicago Cougars, Wisconsin Rapids Riverkings July Tryout. We were amazed by the turnout of 75 players and honored by the enthusiasm. Players played 3 games, had a big lunch and received a great education during our Q&A session.
The Chicago Cougars are in its first year in the USPHL playing out of the 9,000 seat Sears Centre in Chicago, Illinois and the Dells Ducks are in its 5th year who have amassed an amazing 111-26-5 record in 3 years with Head coach Bill Zaniboni and 2 National Appearances. The Wisconsin Rapids Riverkings see attendance at around 350 a night and have Coach Marty Quarters developing players as he has in the NAHL and USHL. Ducks have had over 40 players get placed into College Hockey programs and have 100% of aged players committed under Bill Zaniboni for the past 3 years. The Riverkings have moved 8 players last year into College Programs and were one of the youngest teams in the MNJHL last year. Coach Brad Stoffers of the NAHL takes the helm of the Chicago Cougars for there inaugural year !!!
