The 2025 Dineen Cup Playoffs officially begin on March 25, exactly one month to the day before the start of the Dineen Cup Championship series in Wayne, N.J. In Wayne, each of the three divisional playoff champions will be playing for the Cup, along with one Wild Card team. The Wild Card shall be the New England or Atlantic team that loses the Divisional Final with the highest regular season winning percentage.
Starting the playoffs on Tuesday, March 25, are two play-in best-of-three series featuring the 4v5 seeds from each of the New England and Atlantic Divisions.
In the New England Division, the No. 4 Islanders Hockey Club (30-21-3-0) will face the No. 5 Worcester Railers Junior Hockey Club (24-25-3-2). The Islanders went 6-1-0-0 against the Railers JHC during the regular season, which was the inaugural season for the Railers.
In the Atlantic Division, the No. 4 Rockets Hockey Club (26-23-4-1) will go up against the No. 5 West Chester Wolves (24-25-3-1), another series featuring a founding NCDC team in the Rockets against a new team in the Wolves.
