Elite Stars of the Week | Oct. 13-19, 2025

The United States Premier Hockey League (USPHL) Elite has announced its Division Stars of the Week, recognizing standout performances from October 13-19, 2025.

Only players nominated by their teams were eligible for consideration.

Atlantic Division

Forward: Jack Chaitman – P.A.L. Jr. Islanders: Jr. Islanders forward Jack Chaitman added an assist in the team’s 3-2 win over Elmira. The Roslyn, NY native has played in 11 games this season where he’s totalled 12 points with 2 goals and 10 assists. 

Defenseman: Andrew Mervyak – P.A.L. Jr. Islanders: Andrew Mervyak was instrumental in the P.A.L Jr. Islanders 3-2 win against Elmira where he dished out two assists. Mervyak, a West Babylon, NY native, has played in 11 games this year and has totalled 7 points. 

Goalie: Udit Suri – P.A.L. Jr. Islanders: In a 3-2 victory, P.A.L Jr. Islanders netminder Udit Suri was sensational stopping 38 of the 40 shots he faced. His performance earned him a .950 SV% and his first win of the season. 

Midwest Division

Forward: Cole Darlas – Chicago Crush: Crush Forward Cole Darlas put on a show over two games combining for 5 points. The Flossmoor, IL native started the weekend off with 2 goals and an assist in a 8-1 win, then followed up with a 2 assist game in a 6-1 win. Darlas has appeared in 6 games for the Crush Elite squad this season and has combined for 7 points. 

Defenseman: Ramsey Paullo – Chicago Crush: Chicago Crush defenseman Ramsey Paullo posted 4 points over two games. The Illinois native defender scored twice in Friday night’s game, then added a goal and an assist on Sunday. Paullo has played in 6 games and has added 4 goals and 4 assists on the year. 

Goalie: Austin Schaertel – Fort Wayne Spacemen: Spacemen netminder Austin Schaertel was great between the pipes as he picked up a win in a 6-1 final. The Mesa, AZ native turned aside 16 shots and combined for a .941 SV%. 

Southeast Division

Forward: Jevgeni Ivanov – Potomac Patriots: Patriots forward Jevegni Ivanov added two points in Potomac’s 3-2 win over the Hersey Cubs. This season, Ivanov has played in 6 games and has recorded 5 points.

Defenseman: Riley Berger – Potomac Patriots: Riley Berger added an assist for the Patriots. The Manassas, VA native dished out the assist in the game winning goal over the Hersey Cubs.

Goalie: Tommy Prate – Potomac Patriots: Tommy Prate put together a stellar weekend in goal for the Potomac Patriots Elite. Prate won back-to-back games against the Hersey Cubs, both by 3–2 scores, one coming in regulation and the other in a shootout. Prate turned aside 87 of 91 total shots over the two outings, finishing the weekend with a .956 save percentage and a 2.00 goals-against average.
