Equipment Delivered To Ukraine Players In Need

Yesterday TJHN was able to deliver equipment to players from Novoiavorivsk Ukraine. These players, along with many others in Ukraine continue to be in desperate need of assistance from around the world.

With the assistance of Kathy Rizzo from Goals and Assists for Ukraine, Cliff Graziano and players from the New Jersey Renegades, and Matt Walker at Perani’s Hockey World, we were able to deliver the following;

Two pair of new skates, one used pair with extra steel

Three pair of new shin guards, two pair of gently used shin guards

Eight pair of new gloves, three pair of gently used gloves

Three used shoulder pads

Four new pair of elbow pads, two gently used pair of elbow pads

Two new helmet and cage combo’s

Thirty new pair of cut resistant socks

While it may not seem like a lot by USA standards, this equipment will go a long way in allowing the team from Novoiavorivsk to have a season.

If you want to get involved, we still need two sets of goalie pads. Every registration for The Junior Hockey News showcase series for the month of October will contribute $50 toward the purchase of these remaining items. You can register at http://jhseries.com

Do something for yourself with exposure at the showcases while doing something for others who need your help.
