Eskimos trade Green, Hiley

IROQUOIS FALLS – The Abitibi Eskimos have traded a pair of forwards who played with the team during the 2013-14 NOJHL campaign in advance of the start of the team’s training camp at the Whitney Arena on Tuesday.

Forward Andrew Green (49, 12-30-42, 31), 19, has been traded to the Drumheller Dragons, of the Alberta Junior ‘A’ Hockey League.

Green had been acquired by the Eskimos from the Toronto Attack, of the Greater Metro Hockey League, early in the 2013-14 season.

Meanwhile, the Eskimos have traded 20-year-old forward Shane Hiley (34, 12-13-25, 63) to the Stittsville Rams, of the Eastern Ontario Junior ‘B’ Hockey League.

Hiley had been acquired by the Eskimso from the Kemptville 73s, of the Central Canada Hockey League, during the 2013-14 season.

The Eskimos received cash consideration in both deals.
