Florida Jr. Blades Set To Host USPHL Florida College Showcase Dec. 14-18 In Estero

By Joshua Boyd / USPHLPremier.com

The United States Premier Hockey League and the Florida Jr. Blades are happy to announce that the USPHL Florida College Showcase is ready to enter its third year at Hertz Arena in Estero, Fla., also home of the ECHL’s Florida Everblades.

The showcase will feature all of the USPHL Premier and Elite Conferences’ teams from each conference’s Southeast and Florida Divisions. This year, special guests from outside of these divisions include the Northern Cyclones Premier and Elite teams. The Cyclones won the 2023 Premier National Championship last March.

Additionally, the Motor City Gamblers will bring their Premier team and first-year Elite team to Estero for the first time. Gamblers owner/GM/Head Coach Jason McCrimmon was winner of the U.S. edition of the NHL’s Willie O’Ree Community Hero Award and accepted the award on stage at last year’s NHL Awards Night in Las Vegas.

Games begin on Thursday, Dec. 14, and continue through Monday, Dec. 18.

We look forward to welcoming college coaches from all levels and divisions interested in scouting and meeting our outstanding student-athletes. There will be full hospitality available to scouts at the event, in addition to line charts and assistance from Jr. Blades staff as needed to connect with the student-athletes.

For those who unfortunately cannot attend, we hope you will tune in on FloHockey for the duration of the event, which will feature some of the league’s best play-by-play talent. Also, watch for photo galleries and player interviews on the league and participating team social media channels throughout the event.
