Quinnipiac Junior forwards Collin Graf and Jacob Quillan were tabbed as major award winners by the ECAC, the league announced at its annual awards banquet on March 21.

Graf is the league’s Player of the Year and Quillan earned the Gladiator Best Defensive Forward in accolades voted on by the 12 head coaches of the member institutions.

It was also announced that Graf is a Top 10 Finalist for the Hobey Baker Award on March 20 by the Hobey Baker Award Foundation.

A First Team Selection and Hobey Top 10 honoree for the second consecutive season, Graf (a former NCDC Boston Junior Bruins player) overcame early-season injury troubles to lead the league in all three offensive categories to enter Lake Placid weekend with 22 goals and 26 assists.

Graf totaled 12 multi-point games this season and has 35 for his career, both of which lead the current Bobcats. That was highlighted by a five-point performance against AIC on Oct. 14 and a hat trick against RPI on Feb. 17.

The Lincoln, Mass., selection also added eight power-play goals this season, good for first in the league.
