The Kirkland Lake GoldMiners have acquired Mike Hans, a 97 from Slingerlands, NY. The 6’4 220 pound Hans played for the Richmond Generals elite team in the USPHL, this season and last year as well. Coach Lafleur says “our reports say, Hans is a physical presence in all three zones and in front of the net, also an effective penalty killer and all around defensive forward that rattles the boards when he finishes his check
Coach Lafleur adds that Mike will bring a much needed physical presence to the rink, and hopefully others will follow his lead.
Mike reunites with former Richmond teammates, Captain Ashton Amaya, TJ Oricchio and Alex Storjohann.
