GoldMiners Sign Anderson and Shearer

The Kirkland Lake GoldMiners are pleased to add Dalton Anderson to the lineup. The 19 yr old 5’10” 180 lb forward from Peterborough spent last season with the Tottenham Steam, Champions of the GMHL, where he registered 21 goals & 21 assists in 38 games.

Coach & GM Marc Lafleur says, “Dalton plays a solid, high energy, 200 foot game, he can be relied on in all 3 zones and will add some offensive punch as well.”

Kameron Shearer a 16 year old forward from Tiny, Ont is anything but tiny! At 6’ 0” and 185lbs., Shearer played last season for the North Central Predators AAA Minor Midgets where he later became a draft pick of the North Bay Battalion of the OHL. Coach Lafleur says “young Shearer likes to battle on the boards & will bring size, skill and intensity to the line-up. Plays a mature game, for 16 yr old.”
