Brandon Wheat Kings forward Nolan Flamand has announced his commitment to Merrimack College.
The 21-year-old is set to join the Warriors for the 2025-26 season.
Flamand led the Wheat Kings in scoring in his final year of WHL eligibility, potting 23 goals and 45 assists for 68 points in 67 games.
He also ranked 11th among all WHL skaters in faceoff wins (665).
The 5-foot-10, 185-pound centreman posted seven games with three or more points, highlighted by a two-goal, two-assist outing in a 6-2 win over the Saskatoon Blades on January 3, 2025.
Flamand led the Wheat Kings in goals, assists and points in the 2025 WHL Playoffs with seven points (3G-4A) in five games, finding the scoresheet in every game against the Lethbridge Hurricanes.
The Saskatoon, Sask. product was originally drafted by the Kelowna Rockets with the 27th overall pick in the second round of the 2019 WHL Prospects Draft.
He suited up for parts of four seasons with the Rockets before being picked up by the Wheat Kings in January of 2023.
Flamand closes out his WHL career with 67 goals and 123 points for 190 points in 276 regular season games, in addition to 10 points (3G-7A) in 14 playoff matches.
