Multiple teams in Europe are now looking for Head Coaches. These positions are in the top development leagues in their countries.
Salary dependent on experience. Housing, and flights to and from Europe are included.
Primary responsibilities as a Head Coach must have the following:
Scouting and Recruitment
Strategy, Practice Planning
Video Analysis and Breakdown
Goal Orientated
Strong positive work ethic
Organizationally driven
Detail orientated
Strong desire to develop and advance players.
Assist with Team Management
Community minded
Candidates interested in this position should have the following;
USA Hockey Level three or four coaching certification or Hockey Canada equivilent.
• Previous coaching and player recruitment experience required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to attract and retain high-level players
• Effectively manage coaching staff (assistant coaches, equipment manager)
These positions are best suited for young coaches or coaches looking to break into the European market. Advancement to pro level is possible after year one.
