Hockey Holdings Group, the parent company of The Junior Hockey News, The Draft Guide, Pre Draft Combine, Hockey Talent Management along with several other hockey related ventures will be expanding in 2017.
On the most immediate horizon is the opening of new offices in North America. January 2017 will see new offices open in Detroit and Boston. Other new locations in Denver, New York State, and Illinois are also being developed for March and April 2017.
“For several years now, we have been acquiring smaller companies like TJHN.” Said Joseph Kolodziej CEO of Hockey Holdings Group “We planned those acquisitions in order to provide the most complete service offerings for our customers. We listen to our customers needs, and if we can not fulfill those needs we acquire a company, or develop programing that will allow us to fulfill those needs.”
Why expand now?
“The simple answer is that we wanted to bring in some young talent. We have brought on some great people who are currently finishing up their coaching or management careers in various levels of hockey. Technically speaking though, we had to expand because the market demanded it. There is simply too much bad information out there, and people delivering messages to players when those people have next to no real hockey experience.”
“Part of the plan for opening the new offices is our becoming more active in our player outreach and education programing. Informing and empowering families with accurate information about their individual paths toward their NCAA dreams. Through our outreach activities, we can hopefully save some families who are, in many cases being mislead by people claiming to be advisers.”
Will advising be the only thing covered in this expansion?
“No. We will be bringing our athlete testing, and player grading technology to these markets as well. Our player grading technology has been used in house for the better part of the last five years, and has taken roughly eight years to develop. Our testing technology is simply state of the art, and unparalleled.”
“We will also be promoting our recently acquired website production, and statistics programs to teams and leagues throughout the country. We feel we can offer a better product at more affordable pricing than the competition.”
“Our scouting presence will also be dramatically increased in these cities. Scouting is at the core of everything we do and everything we hope to do for the players, parents, teams and leagues we work with. Providing a heightened level of service over what the competition can offer is simply how we do business. Doing more, giving more, offering more, is how we continue to exceed expectations for our clients.”
Exceeding Expectations is what each company in the Hockey Holdings Group is asked to do. 2017 will see more changes here at TJHN as we update the website again, and add more weekly features.
As always we welcome your questions, comments and suggestions. The Junior Hockey News is your website and we hope to continue to make it what you want it to be.
