Hockey Talent Management – TJHN Chowder Cup Team Wins 10 -2

In what was called a great team effort by Head Coach Michael Gershon, the Hockey Talent Management – The Junior Hockey News 2014 Chowder Cup team got off to a great start with a 10 -2 victory over the Jets.

“It was fun to watch.  A little one sided, but they had a younger team, and they never gave up.”  Said Gershon

Cameron Smith, 1997 forward and USHL veteran lead the way with a hat trick and an assist.  Joe Sofo, NAHL Keystone Iceminers tendered player matched Smiths 4 points with 2 goals and 2 assists.

Jake Gevaart who is attending Iceminers main camp, and is signed to the NOJHL’s Cochrane Crunch had a goal and two assists.  Crunch team mate Reed Gregory had a goal and assist.  Newly signed to the NOJHL’s Mattawa Blackhawks Andy Williams had a goal and two assists.  Kirkland Lake Gold Miners newly acquired defenseman Travis Hall chipped in with an assist.
