While everything in North America looks to be uncertain, Europe has already opened for hockey.
Junior and Professional teams are now signing players for the 2020-2021 season. Openings are immediately available for qualified players in the top Junior and Pro leagues.
Many players may have thought that Tier II in the United States and Canada would be an option for them. With the COVID-19 pandemic, and the border closures, those options are becoming much more limited.
While many leagues, in fact most leagues in North America are talking about delayed starts, or some not starting until 2021, games will begin in Europe in September as usual.
