The Islanders Hockey Club Showcase will bring USPHL Premier and Elite action to New England, amid the landscape of more than 60 NCAA colleges and dozens of ACHA and AAU schools, as well. College scouts will have a convenient, centrally-located opportunity to scout players from some of the Northeast’s top Premier programs, including the last two National Champions – the Connecticut Jr. Rangers (2024) and Northern Cyclones (2023). The host Islanders Hockey Club’s Premier team were also 2024 finalists.
Overall, for the USPHL Premier, the IHC Showcase will feature eight New England Division teams, as well as four teams from the Premier’s new Canada Division and two Atlantic Division teams.
On the USPHL Elite side, there will be six full-season Elite teams competing at the showcase, alongside three guests from the North American Prep Hockey League. Players at the IHC Showcase will be provided a great stage to pave their Pathway To College Hockey.
Last year, more than 300 USPHL Premier players advanced to NCAA, ACHA and AAU college hockey, including 17 NCAA Division I-committed alumni. More than 60 USPHL Elite players and alumni also moved on to all college hockey levels from the 2023-24 season.
